KARACHI: A customs appellate bench of High Court of Sindh (SHC) on Tuesday asked the petitioner side to file copies of the Goods Declaration (GD’s) and deferred further proceedings till Thursday, Jan 18.

The bench was hearing a petition filed by Jawwad Traders who challenged the Director General Valuation’s powers to enhance the value in the presence of a Valuation Ruling. The counsel for Pakistan Customs earlier requested the court to seek copies of the GD’s to settle the dispute. Ms Dil Khurram Shaheen advocate representing the petitioner agreed to submit the same for a quick disposal of the petition.
