KARACHI: Director Customs Valuation Karachi, Dr. Wasif Ali Memon has revised the customs values of skimmed milk powder and instant milk powder vide Valuation Ruling No.843/2016.
The values of skimmed milk powder and instant milk powder with vegetable fat were determined vide Valuation Ruling No. 780/2015. References were received from importers for revision of valuation ruling as they claimed the international prices of the goods were declining.
An exercise was conducted to determine the values of skimmed milk powder and instant milk powder afresh under PCT 0402.1000 and 1901.9020.
The customs values of skimmed milk powder (bulk packaging) under PCT 0402.1000 of USA, New Zealand, Australia, West Europe and Canada origin are fixed at $2.45/KG, of Iran at $1.8/KG and all other origins at $2.25/KG.
The customs values of Instant milk powder with vegetable fat (bulk packaging) under PCT1901.9020 of all origins are fixed at $1.75/KG. The customs values of Instant milk powder with vegetable fat (retail packaging up to 5kg/pack) under PCT1901.9020 of all origins are fixed at $1.85/KG.
