KARACHI: President Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), Daroo Khan Achakzai has underscored the need to promote partnership among member states in Asian Cooperation Dialogue (ACD).
President FPCCI on the invitation of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of Qatar attended One-Day Business Forum of the Member States of Asian Cooperation Dialogue (ACD), hosted by the State of Qatar on May 02, 2019 at Doha.[the_ad id=”31605″]The Forum served as a platform for the business representatives throughout in Asia to promote partnership and collaboration among key stake holders.
The Business Forum was held on the sidelines of the 16th Ministerial Meeting of Foreign Ministers of the Member States in Asian Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) countries of 2019, in which regional integration issues were discussed by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Member States in the Asian Cooperation Dialogue (ACD).
The theme of the Business Forum was “Small-to-Medium Enterprise SME as a new engine for sustainable economic prosperity” with the focus on the role of small and medium enterprises in Asia wherein the FPCCI President shared his views and ideas on the theme.
The FPCCI Chief also attended the business meetings held on the sidelines of the forums on construction & logistics, agriculture & food, electronics, tourism & hotel management, health care industry and banking finance.
During the proceedings of the Forum, Qatar which is the current Chairman of Asian Cooperation Council has also proposed establishment of the Federation of Asian Chambers of Commerce.
