KARACHI: McKinsey & Company is launching its Fuel Ignition Club in Pakistan in next couple of months to assist start-ups, who are looking to develop their business model and value proposition, Partner McKinsey Abdul Raheem said.[the_ad id=”31605″]Speaking at Momentum Tech Conference 2019 here on Tuesday, Abdul Raheem said the Club would help select startups on pro bono basis by connecting them with tools, knowledge and group problem solving sessions with McKinsey consultants.
McKinsey & Company is an American worldwide management consulting firm. It conducts qualitative and quantitative analysis to evaluate management decisions across public and private sectors.
“Pakistan is not in the growth club. The country needs public-private partnership and ease of doing business to unlock the potential,” Raheem added.
Momentum Tech is a technology and entrepreneurial ecosystem platform hosting startups, SMEs, entrepreneurs, investors and multinational companies. Keynote speakers from various tech companies from across the world expressed their views at the conference.
Speaking on the occasion, Asif JAffery, founder of Momentum, said startups in Pakistan didn’t get funding adding the Momentum Conference was an attempt to connect the startups with the investors.
