DOHA: KidzMondo Doha, an international edutainment provider for children, held a ceremony to honour Qatar International Islamic Bank (QIIB) in the presence of Moutaz Al Khayyat, and Ali Kazma, Chairman, Kidz Holding.
Qatar International Islamic Bank (QIIB) Chief Executive Officer Dr Abdulbasit Ahmad Al Shaibei received the honourary shield from Al Khayat, during the ceremony which was also attended by a number of senior officials of QIIB.
The QIIB was honoured for the ongoing support provided by the Islamic lender to KidzMondo Doha in its various activities and programmes.
During the ceremony, Dr Al Shaibei said: “I would like to express my deep thanks to the initiators of this ceremony, headed by Moataz Al Khayat.” The QIIB CEO recalled the beginning of the partnership which began in 2016.
The bank sees the partnership with KidzMondo very noble as its goals are far beyond commercial goals and objectives, because it is geared towards caring for the future generation of the future, and as far as we are concerned today preparing the future generation as we serve our country, and contribute to the achievement of Qatar National Vision 2030, which focuses on human development, and considers it the basis of sustainable development.
Dr Al Shaibei noted that QIIB always seek to serve the local community and the country as part of its social responsibility programmes.
For his part, Al Khayyat expressed his gratitude to QIIB and Dr Al Shaibei for their great support for KidzMondo. “Our partnership with the Islamic International was to expand our range of educational activities.
“The activities have helped enhance the social, cognitive, psychological and emotional development of children, and we are proud to do so with our credible partners.
“Today is a very special day for KizMondo Doha to join forces with the Islamic International to promote its activities and this locally designed strategy will make children feel realistically in dealing with our activities. That is why we are always serious about looking for innovation and innovative activities,” he added.
He pointed out that cooperation with the International Islamic has contributed to providing an enjoyable and enriching educational experience for the children. Through this partnership, children have had the opportunity to learn about the banking sector, especially Islamic banking, in the most interesting way. “We are very pleased to provide such an opportunity to them,” Al Khayyat said.
