KARACHI: A customs appellate bench of High Court of Sindh (SHC) on Friday fixed Dec 14 as date for deciding a case pertaining to imported Asphalt Paver Machine case.
The bench was hearing a petition filed by Ashraf D Baloch company, government contractors. As the proceedings commenced, Ms Dil Khurram Shaheen advocate appearing for the petitioner company submitted a letter written by Collector Customs to Ministry of Commerce stating that it was an un-justified litigation. She also told the bench that Order in Original is in favour of the petitioner while show cause notice issued has also been withdrawn. The bench however adjourned further proceedings for want of time fixing Dec 14 as date for deciding the petition.
