KARACHI: Indonesia has expressed intention to export liquefied natural gas (LNG) to Pakistan and willingness to invest in the country’s energy sector.
A high level diplomatic and business delegation of Indonesia called on Korangi Association of Trade & Industry (KATI).
Indonesia Ambassador to Pakistan Raudin Anwar said that many Indonesian investors were willing to establish industry for palm oil derivative product in Pakistan. He referred that both countries had agreed to expand bilateral trade volume up to $90 million in upcoming decade.
He further added that fruit, seafood and tourism were the sectors having much potential to expand trade between the two countries.
President KATI Danish Khan briefed the delegation regarding Korangi Industrial area and urged to strengthen business-to-business (B2B) and people to people contact between the two countries.
