KARACHI: Chief Collector Customs Central, Lahore chaired a meeting with Collectors and Officers of the Central Region, regarding successful achievement of assigned revenue targets.

Chief Collector congratulated her team on this unprecedented growth in respect revenue collection and hoped that the Central Region will witness similar success in coming months as well.

The central region, has successfully surpassed its revenue collection target set for October 2017. According to details, the Central Region was assigned revenue target of Rs13.64 billion in respect of all duty & taxes for the month of October 2017 and its collection stood at Rs15.15 billion, up 11% of its assigned target and 34 percent in excess of targets achieved in October 2016.

It is important to mention that revenue target for Customs duty for the month of October 2017 was Rs4.89 billion whereas Rs5.36 billion were collected.
