KARACHI: On the occasion of election of Karachi Customs Agents Association (KCAA), Customs Agents Alliance (CAA) has earned more endorsements and support from other Customs agents.

As various committees of Customs agents have already pledged their support for CAA, not Pakistan International Freight Forwarders Association (PIFFA) announced their support for CAA.

Other than that, customs agents of Chiniot community comprising Iqbal Amin Tanda, Ijaz Ahmad, Shakil Dhingra, Shariq Vohra, Shakil Anwer, Waqar Nisar, Sheikh Tahir Ahmad, Abdullah Vohra, Haji Shaukat Feroze, Arshad Usman and Tahir Amin also endorsed Customs Agents Alliance nominated panel for the KCAA election 2017-18.

Customs agents of Punjabi community and agents of Memon community and Urdu speaking community are already with CAA, which is committed to serve the interests of the customs agents’ fraternity.

Member Core Committee of CAA Haji Asif has appreciated and welcomed the support of these communities.

Haji Asif said it was quite surprising that arch-rivals i.e. Karachi Chambers of Commerce & Industry (KCCI) and Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) had joined hands in their opposition against Customs Agents Alliance (CAA).

The office of bearers of KCCI and FPCCI were together against CAA as they did last year, but they were defeated in the last year election of KCAA.
