KARACHI: With the joining of two additional collectors, the MCC Appraisement West had redefined the responsibilities and assignments of additional collectors.
Accordingly, Additional Collector-I Syed Naeem Akhtar has been assigned Group-IV (Ch.50-70), Group-V (Ch.71-83), HQ-I (Estt/Admn, Confidential, CHO, Transport Section), HQ-II (Cash Section, Accounts Policy & Coordination, PTO, Law Branch, Tribunal, S.R. Cell, Budget & Account Section) CPF, Treasury, Procurements, PRAL, Transit Trade legacy issues and any other job.
Additional Collector-II Nayar Shafique would look after the affairs at Group-VII (Ch.86+89, Group-VIII (Ch.90-99), R&D (AIB & Post Release verification Cell), MIS (WeBOC & One Customs), IT Division, Statistical, FTA Cell and Administrative supervision of Assessment hall.
Additional Collector-III Irfan Wahid would look after the affairs of Group-II (Ch.28-38), Group-III (Cg.39-49) Licensing, CRA, Adjudication (ADC level), Customs Laboratory, Pre-Audit, Supervision of WeBOC role for printing cheques.
Additional Collector-IV Azhar Hussain Merchant has been assigned Examinations & Auctions at West Wharf, BOML, AICT, KICT, MCD & Coordination with KPT & Terminal operators, internal audit and inter-port movement.
Additional Collector-V Farrukh Sharif has been assigned Group-I (Ch.01-27), Group-VI (Ch,84-85), B.G Cell, Recovery Cell, ADRC, Public/Private Bonds and warehousing, Import Section, Transshipment, SRO 492 and Temporary Imports, Internal Stock Taking, auction of unserviceable government purchased stocks.
