KARACHI: A customs appellate bench of High Court of Sindh (SHC) comprising Justice Aqeel Ahmed Abbasi and Justice Zulfiqar Ahmed Khan on Thursday ordered Hyderabad Collectorate to release a Toyota Hiace van after securing surety against custom duty, taxes etc.
The bench was hearing a petition filed by one Muhammad Siddique claiming to the owner of the said vehicle.
The same bench fixed Dec 11 to hearing petition regarding another case allegedly smuggled one.
Hearing another petition pertaining to allegedly smuggled vehicles, the bench ordered custom authorities (DIT) to hand over vehicle to Nazir of the Court.
