KARACHI: Directorate General of Customs valuation has revised the customs values of Bopp Films vide valuation ruling No.718 / 2015.
According to details, Importers of different types of Bopp Film, local manufacturer, representatives of FPCCI & KCCI Association filed in the Directorate to revise the values to reflect the current price trends of these goods in the international market.
An exercise was initiated for re-determination of customs values for Bopp Film, which now would be assessed for duty and taxes at the following rates per KG:
The customs values of Bopp Film Plain above 12 microns China origin will be $2.14,, Europe, USA, Canada origin at $2.36 and all other origin at $2.25, Bopp Film Plain upto 12 microns China origin will be $2.35,, Europe, USA, Canada origin at $2.59 and all other origin at $2.47, Bopp Film Metalized China origin will be $2.65, Europe, USA, Canada origin at $2.92 and all other origin at $2.78, Bopp Film Capacitor Grade (width of roll not exceeding 120 mm) China origin will be $6.45,, Europe, USA, Canada origin at $7.10 and all other origin at $6.77,
