KARACHI: The provisional release of consignment was ordered against securing of differential amount of duty and taxes with Nazir of High Court of Sindh here on Tuesday.
The order came from the appellete bench of SHC which heard petition against Federal Secretary Revenue, Collectors of Custom Appraisement & Facilitation, East & West besides Director Valuation.
The counsel for Messer’s 5Subcontinent FD Indent House, Karachi submitted that petitioner has challenged the Valuation Ruling while his Revision is pending before the Customs Appellete Tribunal
The counsel prayed for provisional release against securing of amount of disputed custom duty and taxes with the Nazir of the court.
The bench allowed the request and ordered provisional release.
