KARACHI: A customs appellate bench of High Court of Sindh (SHC) comprising Justice Agha Faisal and Justice Shah Nawaz Memon admitted a Special Customs Reference Application filed by Director General, Valuation, Pakistan Customs against Transsion Techno Electronics Private Limited.
The bench also ordered issuance of notices to respondents for 17.09.2026 while suspending order of the Customs Appellate Tribunal dated 22.07.2026.
Earlier the bench heard Sardar Zafar Hussain Advocate, counsel for applicant who proposed a number of Question of Laws, foremost being that “Whether the Customs Appellate Tribunal has erred in law by violating the dictum laid down by the Supreme Court of Pakistan in the case of Al-Amin Cera-CA 225/2019.
