1. Workers’ remittances were recorded at US$3.8 billion during March 2026.

2. In terms of growth, remittances increased by 16.5 percent on m/m basis and registered a decline of 5.5 percent on y/y basis.

3. Cumulatively, workers’ remittances increased by 8.2 percent to US$ 30.3 billion during Jul-Mar FY26, compared to US$ 28.0 billion received during the same period last year.

4. Remittances during March 2026 were mainly sourced from Saudi Arabia (US$918.4 million), United Arab Emirates (US$823.7 million), United Kingdom (US$587.3 million) and United States of America (US$359.3 million).
