KARACHI: A constitutional bench of High Court of Sindh (SHC) comprising Justice Yousuf Ali Sayeed and Justice Muhammad Osman Ali Hadi disposed of a constitutional petition filed by Hamdam Paper Products Private Limited pertaining to anti-dumping duty on two side coated bleached paperboard during 05.01.2026 till 27.02.2026.
The bench earlier heard Umar Ilyas Khan Advocate appearing for the petitioner company, Agha Shahid Majeed Khan, Sardar Zafar Hussain, Aamir Ali Shaikh, counsel for respondent Pakistan Customs.
The counsel for petitioner raised the issue of retrospective application of the anti-dumping duty.
The bench after detailed hearing disposed of the petition observing that Petitioner ought to firstly engage the Commission through appropriate representation seeking its determination on the matter where after Petitioner may avail remedies available to him against an adverse determination.
