LAHORE: Justice Muhammad Sajid Mehmood Sethi of Lahore High Court has disposed off a petition filed by Hoora Pharma with a direction to official respondent to decide the representation made by petitioner company after affording a due hearing through a speaking order within period of seven days.
The petitioner company moved the court against Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) and others through Shahab Imam Advocate. The main grievance was that the Grievance Petition of another contesting private party was accepted without providing opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.
Shahab Imam Advocate argued that the Petitioners’ rights have been prejudiced by coneming it un-heard in the matter. He submitted that even otherwise, impugned action having being taken contrary to the well established global procurement requirement standards is un-sustainable in the eyes of law.
The bench after detailed hearing ordered MD PPRA to decide the pending representation of the Petitioner company within seven days.
