KARACHI: Hearing a Criminal Revision No 4 of 2025 filed by Syed Naveed Wasti advocate, a bench of High Court of Sindh ordered issuance of notices for Jan 15 to the Chief Commissioner and Additional Commissioner, Inland Revenue, Corporate Tax Office, Karachi.
Ahmed Masood and Arbab Waseem Advocate appeared for the Application impugning an order passed by Judicial Magistrate, South, Karachi in Direct Complaint No Nil of 2026 instituted under Lawyers Welfare & Protection Act 2023. They contended that Respondent IR Officers are now issuing notices to the counsel who replied to the notices issued by them threatening the Applicant with legal action.
The bench after hearing the counsel for applicant ordered issuance of notices to the respondent for January 15 while restraining them from taking any action against the applicant till next date of hearing.
