KARACHI: Karachi Bar Association (KBA) announced boycott of court proceedings for today.
According to Aamir Waraaich, President, KBA, boycott will continue till FIR on behalf of lawyers is registered against YouTuber Raja Butt and his alleged accomplices who man handled lawyers.
The ugly incident occurred on Monday when Rajab Butt came to city court premises to appear in a case registered against him. He was allegedly attacked by a group of lawyers who were angry over some posts of Rajab. Lawyers claim that they have not attacked Rajab and FIR registered against them is false.
Hearing of hundreds of cases was adjourned due to lawyers protest.
