KARACHI: Hearing an Admiralty Suit 05/2025 a bench of High Court of Sindh ordered arrest of vessel MV Xin Fu Zhou, carrying a Chinese Flag.
The bench ordered issuance of arrest warrants to Harbour Master of Karachi Port Trust to not to allow the ship leaving territorial waters of Pakistan till next date of hearing or filing of surety amounting to Euro 411,000 00 value of invoice of six containers imported by the plaintiff company.
The plaintiff moved the court for breach of contract invoking section 3 (2) (H) of Admiralty Jurisdiction of High Court Ordinance 1980.
The court fixed Aug 18 for further hearing.
