KARACHI: A constitutional bench of High Court of Sindh (SHC) disposed of a constitution petition filed by Steel Vision (importer of metals) filed through Mr. Zain Jatoi Advocate against Show Cause Notices issued to the petitioner company by the Pakistan Customs.

As petition came up for hearing before the constitutional bench of SHC, counsel for petitioners submitted that petitioner is willing to contest the Show Cause Notices (SCN) before the issuing authority. He prayed to the court that the notice may be adjudicated under a speaking order after providing opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and in the meanwhile no coercive action be taken against.

As respondent custom side raised no cavil to such request the bench allowed the petition in terms as prayed by the petitioner side. Pakistan Customs was represented by Sardar Zafar Hussain Advocate while Ms Alizeh Bashir appeared for the federal government.
