KARACHI: As the lawyers protest over Six Canal Issue is continuing the court work remained suspended on fourth consecutive day on Thursday.
Hundreds of case hearings were adjourned as lawyers did not turn up while litigants were not allowed to enter into court premises. No undertrual prisoners were brought to city courts for production. The lawyer bodies have threatened to extend their protest and block air and rail service also if their main demand of closing canals construction work. So far no headway is made between the federal government and protestors staging a sitin at Babarloo, Khairpur.
