KARACHI: On a call by lawyer bodies, a complete strike/boycott was observed by lawyers across Karachi and Sindh on Wednesday.
The lawyers are protesting over attempt to kill Amir Warraich, President Karachi Bar Association by un-identified attackers on Tuesday. Nawaz sustained multiple injuries. He was rushed to civil hospital where he was treated for his wounds.
The lawyers closed the entry points at city court Karachi and High Court. Only court staff was allowed to enter into court premises.
No F.I.R of the incident was lodged however injured president hinted that attacker were annoyed by his opposition to 6 Canal Project. Such acts will not deter me from opposing project fatal to interests of Sindh, he said in a message.
