KARACHI: Yet another order of Custom Appellate Tribunal was set aside by Custom Appellate bench of High Court of Sindh (SHC) comprising Acting Chief Justice Muhammad Junaid Ghaffar and Justice Mohammad Abdur Rahman while noticing that tribunal arrived at a finding without dilating upon the order of Adjudicating Authority and without application of mind.

The bench with this observation set aside the order of the tribunal impugned in a Special Custom Reference Application No 253/2024 filed by Directorate of Intelligence & Investigations (DIT) through Khalid Mehmood Rajpar Advocate.

The bench allowing the SCRA remanded the case back to the tribunal for deciding it afresh. One Ahmed Shah is respondent in the matter represented by  Muhammad faisal Qasmi and Najeebullah Khoso Advocates.The case pertains to smuggled skimmed milk powder weighting 8750 kilograms of Iranian origin.
