KARACHI: The FBR has initiated cases or references involving officers in the admin pool based on issues like corruption, misconduct, inefficiency, or other administrative reasons. These cases are typically investigated internally before being forwarded.
FBR reviews the cases and compiles its recommendations, and forwarded to the Prime Minister’s Office for approval or further instructions & action especially if the matter requires high-level intervention or decision-making.
The Prime Minister’s Office will review the cases, possibly in consultation with other relevant investigation agencies and ministries. They will consider the FBR’s recommendations and any legal or policy implications.
Based on the review, the Prime Minister’s Office may decide on actions such as approval of disciplinary measures, transfers, or other administrative decisions. These decisions are then communicated back to the FBR for implementation.
