KARACHI:A custom appellate bench of High Court of Sindh (SHC) disposed of a constitution petition filed by Stafford Miller (Ireland) Limited, Block Drug Company, New Jersey, USA against an order passed by Collector Adjudication-I, dated 04-05-2021.
The respondents include Chairman FBR, Directorate of Intellectual Property Rights Enforcement (South), Director General Afghan Transit Trade, Collectors of Custom, West, Port Muhammad Bin Qasim, Custom Appellate Tribunal, Bilal Bahar Limited and GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare Pakistan Limited.
Sardar Muhammad Ishque Advocate represented the Special Attorney of petitioners while respondent Afghan Transit Trade Directorate was represented by Ms Afsheen Aman Advocate.
As the petition came up for hearing the bench was informed that the adjudicating authority before whom the show cause notice dated 29-4-2021 was pending has decided the case by passing an Order in Original.
The bench said after such orders, the petition becomes in-fructuous and disposed of accordingly.
