QUETTA: Customs Enforcement Baluchistan is pursuing a rigorous anti-smuggling campaign and recovered smuggled goods worth Rs600 million in the first ten days of April 2023.

On the directives of Chief collector Baluchistan Muhammad Saleem and collector Enforcement Quetta Samiul Haq, Additional collector Aftabullah Shah and Deputy Collector Ubaidullah launched a crackdown across the province and operations were conducted in remote and sensitive areas of the province.

Assistant collectors, superintendent, inspectors and Class-IV staff have efficiently foiled several attempts of transporting smuggled goods including sugar, fertilizer, fuel, tea, welding rods, auto parts, HRC & CRC steel and non-custom-paid luxury vehicles such as Lexus LX-570, Land Cruiser ZX, Toyota TX Prado and Toyota Crown.

Customs Baluchistan affected these seizures without the assistance of any other law enforcement or security agencies.
