QUETTA: Customs Quetta is continuing crackdown against smuggling and recovered smuggled goods worth Rs30 million from Nautal area.

On the directives of Chief Collector Baluchistan Muhammad Saleem and Collector Quetta Samiul HAq, Additional Collector formed a team led by Assistant Collector Shafiullah and comprising Field Officer Zaman Mazari, Inspector Muhammad Bux Khoso and others.

The ASO team intercepted a truck and recovered smuggled goods worth tyres, ragzine, cushion cloth, auto parts, silver wires and other goods.

In the month of March alone, Customs Enforcement Quetta has seized smuggled goods worth Rs1.1 billion. Seized goods include luxury cars, narcotics, cigarettes, betel nut, tyres, tea and other goods.
