KARACHI: In pursuance of the decision of the Federal Cabinet dated September 30 2022, the Federal Government has authorized release of consignments of previously banned items for which Goods Declarations (GDs) have been filed on or after August 22, 2022 at the rates of surcharges contained in the Office Memoranda issued by MOC dated 20.07.2022, 19.08.2022 and 23.08.2022 or on the new/enhanced rates of RDs and ACDs contained in SROs 1571(1)/2022 and 1572(1)/2022 both dated 22n0 August 2022, whichever is higher in terms of revenue implications.
Federal Board of Revenue may, therefore, take further necessary action for implementation of Cabinet’s decision under intimation to this Ministry.
