KARACHI: An application filed by Port Muhammad Bin Qasim Customs under section 151 CPC seeking review of an order passed by Custom appellate bench of High Court of Sindh was referred to Chief Justice.
The application was against order of provisional release against post dated cheques. Tariq Aziz, custom officer of PMBQ colletorate filed the application on ground that no notice was issued to the department before passing of the order.
The amountc must be secured by way of bank guarantee or pay order instead of post dated cheques.
The vacation bench headed by Justice Junaid Ghaffar observed to that a bench has passed orders and this bench cannot review the same the bench then ordered the office of the court to place this application before Chief Justice for appropriate orders.
