KARACHI: After five days of disruption in court work due to stalemate between judicial officials and members of Karachi Bar Association (KBA) over arrest of a Chowkidar, normalcy returns to City Court Complex as all demands of KBA were accepted.

The work resumed and lawyers returned to the courts. Proceedings were held in cases fixed for the day. The prisoners were also brought from Central Prison Karachi.

More than 7000 cases were adjourned during five days of disruption adding to the misery of prisoners, litiagants etc. The matter ended with the transfer of District and Sessions Judge East who was reported ordered to report back to High Court of Sindh.
