KARACHI: the electricity at SHC was disrupted this morning after a blast in Pole Mounted Transformers.
The sudden shut down is continuing till 9:30 am when this news is filed.
The routine work is being affected due to prevailing heat wave.
According to lawyers,as the suffocation prevails due to presence of lawyers in court rooms, judges retired to their chambers and are hearing cases one after another.
Previously K-Electric used to have a van mounted backup system to ensure uninterrupted power supply to SHC.
The heavy generator is also stated robe out of order and shortage of funds is advanced as a reason.
At least half a dozen lawyers were taken to the SHC clinic after acute dehydration.
It may be the worst working conditions for thousands of employees, lawyers and litigants as such a mismanagement is unexpected.
