KARACHI: A customs appellate bench of High Court of Sindh directed the MCC Jinnah International Airport and Deputy Collector of Air Freight Unit, JTC to make final assessment as per section 25 of the Customs Act 1969.

The bench earlier heard a counsel from law firm Franklin Law Associates representing Teltonika Pakistan (Pvt) Limited who submitted that goods of the petitioner has been released provisionally but the department is not making a final assessment as per laws.

As no other issue was involved the bench disposed of the petition with the direction to the department to make a final assessment as per terms of the section 25 of the Customs Act.
