Customs Quetta seizes smuggled goods worth Rs50mn

QUETTA: In several separate opertions, Customs Quetta has seized large quantity of smuggled goods at Naukandi, Noshki and Mani Khwa. Superintendent Saleem Mandokhel, Inspectors Asghar Kakar, Rafiq, Aijaz, Fahad and Qurban Ali took part in these operations.

The seized smuggled goods including cloth, tea, crockery, tyres, toiletries and cosmetics are worth Rs50 million. These goods were to be smuggled to the in country.

On the directives of Collector Irfan Javed and Additional Collector Umar Shafique, Deputy Collector Zuhaib Sandela and Assistant Collector Yusuf Mari have tightened the vigilance on the transporting routes as well as strengthened intelligence network.
