IBL Logistics (Private) Limited approached the Directorate of Input-Output Co-efficient Organization (South) Karachi for Certificate of Import Authorization for import of raw materials housing/shell, shell cover for all kinds of LED lights; Bare or stuffed metal clad printed circuit board (MCPCB); Constant Current Power Supply for of LED lights (1-300W) and lenses for LED lights on concessionary rate of customs duty 5th Schedule of the Customs Act, 1969 for the manufacturing of LED lights.
Sharjeel Jamal of UTrade represented IBL Logistics and the company was granted inputs for the manufacturing of LED lights for FY2021-22.
The importer cum manufacturer is required to maintain records of the inputs and the goods manufactured from imported inputs in such forms as prescribed by the Federal Board of Revenue or required under any other law for the time being in force.
Director IOCO (South), Karachi may, whenever, deemed necessary get the records of the importer cum manufacturer audited and may also get the stocks verified.
