Karachi (PR) President Karachi Customs Agents Association Mr. Wasiq Hussain Khan informed through press release that the Director General, Directorate General of Reforms & Automation (Weboc Project) Mr. Wajid Ali has inaugurated NADRA e-Sahulat Counter at KCAA Head Office on Monday the 30th August 2021. Karachi Customs Agents Association is the first Association to launch such an important facility where customs agents and their client’s (importers/exporters) can have biometric verification required for registration, in the PSW portal.

At the occasion the Director Reform & Automation Engr. Riyaz Memon, Collector of Customs Appraisement (East) Mr. Fayyaz Rasool, Additional Director Pakistan Single Window Mr. Naveed Abbas,  Office Bearers and Members Managing Committee and number of senior members of KCAA also attended the ceremony.

Speaking on the occasion, Director General Mr. Wajid Ali stated that the Pakistan Single Window facility would reduce time, cost and complexity while improving quality of experience for all stakeholders to ensure ease of doing business besides support government agencies in adopting an Integrated Risk Management approach for efficient enforcement of cross border trade related controls. He also said that the implementation of PSW will enable Pakistan to achieve compliance with WTO’s Trade Facilitation Agreement besides helping to unlock its potential in becoming a hub for trade.

President KCAA Mr. Wasiq Hussain Khan stated that PSW was undoubtedly a mega transformation to facilitate trade. KCAA has the honor to launch a help desk for PSW where members (customs agents) and business community will be facilitated.

At the occasion the General Secretary KCAA Mr. Mehmood ul Hasan Awan also advised to the participants to disseminate information about availability NADRA e-Sahulat facility for PSW at KCAA amongst all the members so that maximum number of people could avail this facility.
