HYDERABAD: Customs Intelligence and Investigation (I&I Sukkur) has seized large quantity of LTV tubeless tyres worth Rs1.08 million near New Bus Stand, in Sukur. The goods had come from Baluchistan for further disposal to upcountry.
Moreover, I&I Sukkurseized large quantity of miscellaneous smuggled goods including gutka, cloth, cigarette, Chinese salt and cloth. The value of the seized goods is Rs1.6 million.
Keeping in line with the directions of Director General I&I, Islamabad to curb the menace of smuggling through Baluchistan to upcountry, I&I Sukkur has increased vigilance on the movement of goods as well as strengthened the intelligence network.
Resultantly, the flow of smuggled goods has been reduced to minimal.
