KARACHI: Sindh High Court is back to normal and routine as Summer vacations ended.

The benches were formed and cases were heard. However as it was first day after Covid 19 lock down restrictions removed, most of the cases were adjourned to some other date.

Meanwhile the lawyer representative bodies Sindh Bar Council, SHC Bar Association and Karachi Bar Association has announced full day boycott of court proceedings on Tuesday, Aug 10 throughout the province to record their protest over appointment in superior judiciary.

According to a press release issued by Sindh Bar Council it was requested that Chief Justice of SHC be appointed as permanent judge of Supreme Court of Pakistan. SBC termed the  proposed appointment of incumbent CJ of SHC as adhoc judge of apex court as terrible  constitutional precedent and destroying the independence of judiciary.
