HYDERABAD: Customs Intelligence and Investigation Sukkur (I&I Sukkur) has expedited its drive against the movement of smuggled goods in line with the directives of Director General I&I, Islamabad to curb the menace of smuggling through Baluchistan to upcountry.
During the course, I&I Sukur intercepted a non-duty-paid Toyota Corolla car worth Rs3.1 million. Moreover, I&I Sukkur recovered large quantity of smuggled cigarette near Sukkur Bus Stand. The value of the seized cigarette is Rs4.2 million.
In another information-based operation, I&I sukkur seized large quantity if smuggled cigarette, which was being transported to Karachi from Peshawar. The value of the seized goods is Rs1.95 million.
