KARACHI: The Collector of Customs MCC Appraisement and Facilitation, West and Director I&I were ordered to either obtain a restraining order or implement an Order in Original (ONO) passed in favor of M/S A-One Steel, Multan.
The bench earlier heard counsel from Law firm Franklin Law Associates and Khalid Rajpar, counsel for Pakistan Customs. Mr Rajpar submitted that he is unaware of any decision taken by a committee constituted by the department to deal with grievance of petitioner as well of others in identical issue.
The bench after this statement adjourned further proceedings till March 09 directing the respondents to either obtain a restraining order from Customs Tribunal in the appeal filed by them or implement the ONO. The bench also sought compliance report on next date of hearing.
