KARACHI: Pakistan Customs will be submitting compliance report before Customs Appellate bench of High Court of Sindh on Wednesday in a petition filed by G.M.Sons.
Earlier the bench heard Abdul Wahid Motan advocate representing the importer company. The bench was told that following orders passed by the court, consignment has been released.
The counsel for petitioner company confirmed such statement but added that customs are not issuing delay detention certificate.
The counsel for customs said that importer has not approached the officials for the certificate.
They need not come to you, call them and issue delay detention certificate, the bench said directing the officer concerned and counsel for respondent custom officials to issue the same and place its copy on record of the case before Dec 23 when case may be disposed of.
