KARACHI: Hearing two almost identical petitions filed by Mumtaz Ghani Textile Mills Ltd, a customs appellate bench of High Court of Sindh on Monday allowed ten day time to the Pakistan customs for compliance report.
The petitioner company challenged the blocking of User ID and NTN on alleged charge of availing Duty Drawback facility illegally.
The bench noted that the appeal by the department before Supreme Court has failed. After judgment by the apex court department is bound to implement the decision in field, it said.
The counsel for department sought 15 day time but the bench fixing Dec 11 as next date of hearing ordered them to submit compliance report by next date of hearing.
