KARACHI: Atleast four division benches of High Court of Sindh goes in camera proceedings as litigants are disallowedentryi into court rooms.
The media is also not allowed to enter court rooms. The measure is said to be taken in view of Corona Pandemic and give as a precautionary measure.
The other benches are open and as such Corona is not threatening or dangerous in the other courts and judges .
A circular dated Oct 13 has been displayed outside the court room of Mr Justice Muhammad Junaid Ghaffar issued by High Court of Sindh spelling directions for lawyers, Sindh High Court
Bar Association and court staff.
It is worth mentioning that Honourable judges sit on a high podium and distances between first two benches occupied/reserved for lawyers are at average distance of six feet already and more in majority of court rooms.
