QUETTA: The 8th session of Joint Border Trade Committee between Pakistan and Iran commenced under the auspices of Pakistan Customs Quetta and Quetta Chambers of Commerce and Industry (QCCI).
Speaking at the inaugural session, collector Quetta Abdul Waheed Marwat said bilateral trade between the two Islamic countries was the need of hour.
The Joint Border Trade Committee deliberates on trade issues between the two countries as well the business opportunities and challenges faced by business community in Iran’s province of Seistan and Pakistan’s province of Baluchistan.
Last Joint Border Trade Committee meeting was held in Zahidan, Iran on November 19-20, 2019.
Consulate General of Iran in Quetta Hasan Darwaish and Pakistan’s Consulate General in Zahidan, Iran Muhammad Rafee also attended the meeting.
