KARACHI: Over 70 SCRA’s filed by the Collector of Customs were dismissed here on Monday by a Customs appellate bench of High Court of Sindh.
The matters pertain to alleged illegal removal of containers. Khalil Dogar advocate represented the Pakistan Customs.
The bench at the outset asked that how these references are maintainable when the accused/alleged liable persons were not confronted. There was no adjudication or imposition of penalty, the bench noted. It also observed that officials of customs involved were let off the hook.
The bench after hearing the counsel for applicant at length disposed of the applications.
