KARACHI: A custom Appellate bench of High Court of Sindh on Friday ordered provisional release of a bouzer allegedly involved in smuggling of betel nuts as 23000 Kg banned item was recovered from it.
The bench headed by Justice Aqeel Ahmed Abbasi and Justice Zuliqar Ahmed Khan earlier heard a petition filed by Asghar Ali, owner of the detained vehicle. Ms Dilkhurram Shaheen advocate appearing for the petitioner relied on an order passed by Special Customs Appellate Tribunal which ordered release of bouzer on payment of 20 percent redemption fine.
