KARACHI: The laboratory test report was summoned in analleged case of heroin smuggling by a division bench of High Court of Sindh (SHC).

The bench was hearing a criminal  acquittal appeal filed by Collector of Customs, Preventive represented by Ms Dilkhurram Shaheen advocate against acquittal if accused Maqbool Khan.
According to details, accused was going to Ukraine from Karachi on 8_9_2012 when he was intercepted by Pakistan Custom officials at Jinnah Airport terminal. A search lead to recovery of 670 grams of heroin powder from suit case and 330grams from shoes of the accused.

The accused was tried by court for Control of Narcotics Substances which acquitted the accused giving him benefit of doubt as testimony of Prosecution Witnesses was different from one another.

The present appeal challenges the acquittal by the trial court. The case was partly heard and later putoff till Sept03, when appellant side was asked to produce test report of recovered contraband.
