KARACHI: NBP Custom House Branch remained closed on Monday, 27th April 2020 and collection of duties & taxes remained suspended.
As informed by the Management of National Bank of Pakistan Custom House Branch that due to three (3) employees of this Branch have tested positive for Corona Virus. Tests of all their employees have been done and reports are expected later tomorrow.
Hence, they shall start bank operations from Tuesday after test results of all their staff.
KCAA is making all possible efforts to make the payments of duties & taxes from the other branches i.e. Nadir House Branch and NBP Head Office.
Meanwhile, KCCA advised members and their employees to maintain all precautionary measures during these ongoing critical times due to spread of COVID-19 countrywide.
Further keeping in view the ongoing automation, reforms & changes, and to extend maximum facilitation to trade, KCCA emphasized members to pay their duties and taxes electronically On-Line through E-Payment / PSID option by adopting world advancement and modern era of technology.
It may be mentioned here that three Preventive Officers staying at Preventive Club in Federal B. Area Karachi have also tested positive for Corona virus. These officers are posted at different places.
