KARACHI: Sharjeel Jamal of M/s UTrade and Logistics has approached Chief Collector Appraisement South complaining regarding import of shirting pile fabric in the garb of blanket pile fabric.
Sharjeel Jamal noted that one Principle Appraiser posted at west Collectorate is running a cartel to promote mis-declaration / smuggling in the import of Shirting Pile Fabric in the grab of Blanket Pile Fabric HS Code: 6001.9290.
“The name of Principle Appraiser can only be disclose during meeting,” he said.
Jamal alleged that Rs0.1 million were being taken as bribe for clearing/assessing shirting pile fabric at $2.45/kg instead of $3.90/kg.
