KARACHI: The Establishment Division has notified that Khawaja Adnan Zahir, a BS-21 officer of Inland Revenue Service presently posted at Director General Federal Ombudsman Secretariat, is transferred and posted as Director General National FATF Secretariat Cell under Economic Affairs Division.
Khawaja Adnan is transferred on deputation basis upto his date of superannuation on October 21, 2020.
In July last year, Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) established a Financial Action Task Force (FATF) cell to ensure an effective and timely implementation of measures against terror financing carried out through currency smuggling.
